Following the success of the inaugural Geneva Summit on Sustainable Finance held in 2013, the Geneva Finance Research Institute and the Institute For Environmental Sciences of the University of Geneva together with Sustainable Finance Geneva are pleased to announce the 2nd Geneva Summit on Sustainable Finance, which will be held on November 27th, 2014 at the University of Geneva in Switzerland.
The overall theme for this year’s event is Sustainable Finance, quo vadis? As in the previous year, the conference will provide a unique opportunity to investment professionals, think tanks, policy makers, academics and students to discuss and learn about issues related to sustainable finance.
Initiated by the University of Geneva, the event aims at encouraging research and debate on the tension between the predominance of short term thinking and the need for better long term outcomes.
We invite submissions of complete research papers, extended abstracts as well as panel proposals addressing themes relating to models and incentives for driving Sustainable Financial Markets and Financing of Sustainable Development.
