The preservation of reproductive health and fertility remains a clinical challenge despite improved understanding of the mechanisms underlying the development, function and regulation of the male and female reproductive systems. While infertility can, in some cases, be overcome through assisted reproductive technologies (ART), success rates are often suboptimal. This cross-disciplinary meeting will discuss research advances in our understanding of male and female reproductive health and fertility, and will consider best-practice for the diagnosis, management and treatment of infertility in a range of clinical situations.
